Premium Lodge

The Lodge
Small Dog Accommodation
The Lodge is a large, light-filled, air-conditioned/heated building with separate enclosures. Each guest enjoys their own dog bed and blanket along with relaxing music. Each of our Lodge guests also receive up to six hours a day of outdoor playtime in one of our large grassy play areas with two hours of enrichment from one of our lovely Animal Attendants. What we offer Your Dog
Exercise
At SmallPaws – we don’t charge extra for exercise – and weather permitting, our guests can be outside in our kennels’ grassed gardens for most of the day. We also have a large indoor play area which is air-conditioned and heated.
Comfort
All of our accommodation is also fully air-conditioned and heated.
There is a choice of menu of Prime 100 Chicken and Vegetable Roll, My Dog (variety of flavours) and Supercoat Adult Dry Food.
Pampering
For our pampered Pooches there is an option to upgrade to a gourmet food selection of Prime 100 Slow Cooked Meals or cooked chicken breast.
Here at SmallPaws, we stock three flavours of the Prime 100 slow cooked meals including chicken with brown rice, beef with carrot and lamb with rosemary for our pampered Guests to upgrade to if so desired.

Daily Routine
Morning wake up starts with a run outside our boarding kennels to ‘attend to business’ and checkout what has been happening in the neighbourhood since the previous day. During this playtime, every pet gets a cuddle and check over to ensure everyone is happy and healthy.
Morning medications are then dispensed, and breakfast for those who need it.
Our guests are then separated into their daily playgroups in large grass garden areas. Playgroups are carefully chosen based on size, age and temperament.
Our guests spend approximately six hours per day playing, sleeping in the sun, checking out new friends, and ‘supervising’ the daily
activities of their carers. Exercise is available all day in one of our boarding kennels’ large grass yards based on temperament. All of our dog guests also receive two hours of enrichment (lots of playtime & cuddles) from one of our lovely animal attendants each day!
During the afternoon there are more cuddles, ‘health checks’, pampering plus activities (optional extra), bath time along with more sleeping and playtime.
Late afternoon it’s dinnertime and back to the rooms for rest and more cuddles.
Evening medication is then dispensed if necessary and a final good night tuck in.
Doggy Daycare
SmallPaws Pet Hotel is also the only doggy day-care on Sydney’s Northern Beaches that cares exclusively for small/toy social dog breeds 10 kg and under, and that has outdoor grassed play-areas. For six hours of the day, our day-care Guests will be allocated a suitable group of other dog guests, which we base on age, size, and temperament.
